You’re talented, smart, and ambitious. You’ve got skills, education, and professional experience. You know your value and you’ve mastered your domain.
But, is that the person that other people see?
Let’s keep it real. Whether you like it or not, people judge you based on how you look. That’s were I come in.
Maybe you want to look more sophisticated and refined.
Maybe you want to make a better first impression or be that person that everyone notices when they walk into a room.
Or, maybe you want to create a personal brand through your clothing and presence that commands respect and attracts opportunities.
Whatever the case is, I’m here to help you improve your image.
Hello! My name is David McKnight.
I began my career as a management consultant after completing my MS in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to graduate school I studied sociology and philosophy at Rutgers University.
I began image consulting in 2006 while working full-time as a consultant. I left my job as a financial services executive in 2018 to pursue my passion for image, style, and personal development.
As a certified image consultant and professional coach, I help executives and entrepreneurs to unlock the power of their personal image and style to achieve their desires and goals. To put it simply, I teach them how to leverage their appearance and presence to get promotions, grow their business, or to be more confident in social settings.
Uncanny intuition, a critical eye, and my expertise in style and business allows me to strategically help my clients to achieve tangible results. Nothing makes me happier than to see my clients feeling confident and looking amazing in their professional or social life.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading books on style and business, and drinking bold red wines.
David McKnight's informed opinions have been featured in publications covering topics that include career advancement, fashion, style, life, and personal brand. Browse through the articles below to discover David's influence within the field.
